How PACT Dogs attracted national recognition with a series of bespoke brand animations.
The challenge
PACT Dogs needed a family of animations that could represent their brand, their courses, and their community – and be delivered on budget and in time for Crufts 2024.
What we did
We’ve delivered five bespoke animations across a two-year partnership, from a looping podcast ident to a 3-minute brand film featuring real member voices.
What Changed
PACT arrived at Crufts with a stand that started conversations, featured in a Channel 4 appearance, and propelled the visual foundation of their brand.

Director, PACT Dogs
From the very first online meeting Rachel & Katie created a space and atmosphere which made us feel relaxed and able to really discuss our ideas and visions. They matched our enthusiasm which made the process such a joy. Whenever we wanted tweaks it was recieved well, in fact communication throughout all the projects Majestical have managed and delivered for us has been incredible. They were so quick with their turnaround yet it never felt rushed.
The videos have really helped us shape our branding and image across our website and marketing materials. We were really stuck on the vision for the brand video, but they came up with the idea for the video which now sits proudly on our homepage and runs on a loop at our in-person events. It can be difficult to think about how you can capture the essence of your business in such short clips but they really listen and smash it out the park.
Having worked with Majestical on several projects we wouldn’t hesitate to go back to them when needed.
Background
PACT Dogs – the Professional Association of Canine Trainers – is a B Corp-certified membership organisation working to raise standards across the companion animal training sector through science-led, welfare-friendly practice. They came to Majestical needing a brand animation series that could hold its own at Crufts, communicate the warmth of their community, and be delivered against a four-week deadline. It was also important that the videos could exist as a timeless asset to be used in all future course promotional communications.
Together we created five bespoke animations across two years – from a 17-second looping podcast ident to a 3-minute brand film built from real member voices. The result: a visual identity that lives on their website, their stand, and their screens at the UK’s biggest dog show.
The Challenge
PACT Dogs needed to arrive at Crufts 2024 with a stand that genuinely reflected the quality and ambition of their organisation – and they had four weeks to make it happen. Three distinct animations were required: a promo for their Canine Training Instructor Course, a short film for their annual DogX conference, and a looping ident for their Barks from the Bookshelf podcast.
Each piece needed its own identity whilst sitting together as a coherent family of work. For a B Corp organisation whose reputation rests on the integrity of their brand, generic or rushed work simply wasn’t an option. The challenge wasn’t just creative – it was a test of what a truly collaborative process could achieve under pressure.
our approach
We worked closely with the PACT team to develop a bespoke visual language that could stretch across formats, lengths, and purposes without losing coherence. The initial three animations were built as a mixed-media series – combining animation, real life and stock imagery, and motion graphics in a style that felt as vibrant and purposeful as the organisation itself.
The Barks from the Bookshelf ident took a more playful direction. Working from an existing PACT illustration of two of their very own dogs Peaches and Drax, brought to life in time with the podcast’s promo audio – creating a 17-second piece designed to loop cleanly and work as a signature across platforms.
Following the success at Crufts, PACT commissioned a Brand Film. Using our online virtual studio, we interviewed PACT members and wove their honest testimonials into a narrative supported by animated transitions and supplementary footage. In 2026, a fifth animation – the Canine Behaviour Technician Course promo – completed the suite.
Throughout, review stages were kept straightforward and low-pressure. We also supplied high-resolution stills from the animations for banners and physical signage on the 2026 Crufts stand – extending the work from screen into space.
The impact
The animations did exactly what thoughtfully made work should do at an exhibition: they started conversations. PACT arrived at Crufts 2024 with a stand that reflected the calibre of their organisation, and the films were central to how they presented themselves to their profession.
The reach extended beyond the stand. During Crufts 2024, PACT’s founders were featured in a Channel 4 segment on sustainability in dog businesses – and the Majestical animations were visible in the background during that coverage. Separately, PACT were recognised with the Inaugural Award for Most Sustainable Business at Crufts that same year.
Since then, the animations have become a permanent part of PACT’s brand presence – embedded across their website and extended into physical print for their 2026 Crufts stand, where stills from the animations appeared on banners and signage. The work moved from screen to space and keeps showing up for them.

Frequently asked questions
Can a charity digitise its workshops into e-learning videos?
Yes – and it is one of the most effective ways to extend the reach of programmes you have already invested in building. We work with charities to take existing workshop materials, facilitator guides and recorded sessions and transform them into self-paced video learning that works on platforms like Thinkific. The starting point can be as simple as a slide deck and a script.
How do you create e-learning videos that engage young people?
Young audiences are not disengaged – they are discerning. We design learning experiences that respect their intelligence: clear, purposeful animation; diverse and authentic voiceover; pacing that holds attention without dumbing down the subject. For Ocean Generation, we built an entire motion system rooted in the movement of the ocean to make the science feel alive rather than static.
How long does it take to produce a suite of e-learning videos for a charity?
It depends on the volume and starting point of the material. The Wavemaker Digital 2.0 project – 53 videos across four programmes – ran from commission to delivery in four months. We plan carefully at the outset, set clear review stages, and keep the process as straightforward as possible for busy charity teams.
How do you handle scientific or complex subject matter in educational animation?
Carefully and collaboratively. For Ocean Generation, that meant precise pronunciation of ocean science terminology, motion design that visualised abstract concepts honestly, and a creative process that never simplified the science at the expense of accuracy. We work closely with subject matter experts on the client side throughout, not just at the brief stage.
